Qualify za_warudo as meme

what meme? that is the name of the character's ability?

It indeed also is a meme, and it is shown in the wiki page for za_warudo that it is a meme.

It is the name of the character's ability but I believe there exists more content of it being used as a meme than actual content that is simply the characters utilizing the ability.

but we have posts like post #3061192 tagged with za warudo because it's the ability. if you change it to a meme then it will get tagged as meme even though it's just the actual ability of the character that was tagged

Hmm, I see what you mean, but then why does that post have to get tagged with that specific ability name when the wiki states it is for the meme specifically? Do we go out of our ways to tag every single character and their abilities?

I went into the wiki page of dio_brando and once again it states the abilities as memes, not actual abilities. I think based on the wiki page of za warudo that post should have been tagged with time stop, not za warudo

i don't know but i think it would be weird if we had a tag for za warudo that specifically shouldn't be used when the character whose power is za warudo uses za warudo

like imagine if super saiyan was super saiyan (meme) and you told people they should just search for blonde hair instead if they wanted to see actual super saiyans

btw a similar tag is i am atomic (kagejitsu) i believe

super saiyan is defined by many tags whereas the ability of za warudo is simply time stop, however it is not like I also deny your point completely. This is more of holding copium to what it is written in the wiki.

We do not tag za warudo for the ability and we kind of never did it seems (see wiki), it is simply time stop for the ability, so if a character actually uses za warudo but without the meme it's time stop. This makes sense because the ability is literally time stop so if we tagged za warudo for the ability then we'd have to imply time stop as well, which makes the tag redundant.

For super saiyan things get complicated. Since there is not a single tag that can cover the ability it has it's own I suppose...

ok but what is the "meme"? the character has to say "za warudo"? just like they did in post #3061192?

is the meme... literally using the za warudo ability that stops time?

the flash animation linked in the wiki as the source for the "meme" just does literally everything that happens canonically in jojo and the wiki even says that it just summarizes the events that happened in jojo

the "meme" is indistinguishable from the actual ability

You could have a za warudo (meme) and za warudo (ability) tags. I'd like to think anybody familiar enough with Jojo's to tag a specific ability would be aware of the meme and the differences between the two.

EDIT: Or alias za warudo (ability) to time stop

you can't just say "it's za warudo (meme) when it's a meme and za warudo (ability) when it's not a meme"

you have to actually define the difference between these two otherwise it's the same tag

BUR #57918 has been rejected.

create alias za_warudo -> time_stop

If the ability is the same as the meme, then the alias makes sense, so we'd drop the alias za_warudo -> za_warudo_(meme) and keep everything else as is. I'd still like to get some pro opinions on this.

The cases such as in post #8373082 imply that yes, indeed the meme is simply saying the words. Doesn't have to be the ability use.

The meme aspect would be referencing/parodying the flash animation mentioned on the za warudo wiki page, usually by a steamroller appearing in a time stop with a rider shouting wryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy in the wry shouting pose.

https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/za-warudo-wryyyyy

Looking over the posts actually tagged with za warudo, it's fairly obvious a bunch of them are unrelated to that specific meme although it's possible the phrase itself has become a larger meme.

I'd agree with the latter. I believe it is enough evidence to tag a post with the meme tag.

The wrong spelling is exactly why it should have the qualifier. Even though it's officially The World, almost every post tagged with it spells it that way, just like the title on KYM.

Would love a way to hide or collapse qualifiers though
