Absurdly long hair

Posted under Tags

I've recently noticed that the wiki for absurdly long hair does not match the way taggers use it. The wiki stipulates it should be used for hair that exceeds body length, but it's commonly used on posts for hair that's between knee and body-length. In some cases, it's used on cowboy shot or feet out of frame posts. Mistags happen by builders and non-builders alike. So, I'm wondering if the wiki should be adjusted or if the name should be changed to make it more intuitive about what it's meant for. Edit, here are the posts I just removed it from, for reference.

The hair length tags already have "hair past _____" aliases that can help with this. However, if they were made the main tags, then they might end up being used for how far down the end of the hair is instead of its actual length. For example, absurdly_long_hair makes sense for post #10450291 because the hair is clearly long enough to satisfy that condition, but hair_past_feet wouldn't make sense because the hair in that image is not, in fact, past the feet.

Like any size/length tag group, the solution is to either memorize the criteria for each or to refer to the wiki instead of randomly guessing or using Related Tags.
