My only advice for anyone still trying to get Builder /Contributor is just to casually upload or tag a lot of post from time to time instead of stressing yourself out trying to rush cause you will get a quick burn out. And if people manage to beat you from uploading an image you were gonna upload, which happens to me all the time, just tag them as well cause most of the time those posts won't have a lot of tags on them.

If someone posts the exact same image from the exact same source while you're on the upload page and you post yours, the tags you added will be merged with whatever tags the other user already added.
Also, if you decide to add your tags after posting (controversial, but allowed), make sure you tag anything likely to be blacklisted before posting, especially loli/shota and things you would only find in posts rated Questionable/Explicit. Keep in mind you are far less likely to forget blacklist tags if you tag thoroughly on the upload page instead of after posting.
Come on. If you regularly get sniped, upload different artists. You're wasting your own and other people's time by just fighting over the same 3 artists like a bunch of rabid dogs, while there's thousands of artists that go unuploaded.
To anyone who wants to farm tag edits for builder rank, here's some tags that are missing from a lot of posts that should have them:
child is frequently not tagged on posts where there is a child character; you can find many such posts to add this tag to in the aged down and parent and child tags.
hetero is also often not tagged where it should be; as a rule of thumb, if it would get yuri or yaoi if you genderswapped one of the characters in the post, it should get hetero.
A lot of the combat related tags tend to be both mistagged and undertagged, with duel in particular missing from a lot of posts that should have it, and fighting and battle being tagged incorrectly often, usually in place of duel (check the tags wikis for clarification). This one bugs me in particular since I like searching for VS Battles/powerscaling art but the tagging situation on those posts is a real mess right now, so if anyone wants to sort those out I'll be sure to give you kudos for it.
There's easily tens of thousands of edits to be had from those tags alone, so this strikes me as a lucrative opportunity for anyone wanting to get an easy promotion through gardening.

Be very careful with which posts you add this tag to. It is only to be used for completely SFW depictions of child characters. If the character in question is presented with the slightest bit of suggestiveness, it does not qualify for the tag. It may even qualify for loli or shota if it's suggestive enough.
Consider adding rating:g to your search when populating this tag. Adding is:sfw can also work, but it will include rating:s posts as well, so make sure you're certain the S rank isn't due to any sexualization of the child character before adding the tag.
I'm not generally a fan of the way this administration is, but on this sole topic I'm kinda hoping for a W.
Sorry for getting a bit political, but I'm sorry to say but knowing how ticky tack the FTC has been running, even for the standards of this Trump administration, I doubt this will have anything to do with danbooru, or art/anime in general
It's almost certainly some very specific, Trump-friendly company that the FTC is making a fuss over

Well... I can dream!
The spirit of the demands is nice it really depends on the letter of it I suppose.
I have reached 700+ posts, the inability to know for sure whether I will be promoted makes me very anxious
You're fine. A 2.2% deletion rate should definitely be good enough to get promoted. It may take a couple weeks though depending on how busy the admins are.

I sent you a message about your tagging two weeks ago, when I made the last promotion pass and had to skip you for this: user:Reshitelny gentags:<20. You never replied.

I apologize for not replying to private messages, but I've improved this after receiving your message; my new uploads now have at least 20 tags.
I will add the tags for those were less than 20 in the previous uploads after a while.

Is there a way on your end to count only the tags added by the uploader across all updates, or is a regular gentags:<20 search your only option?

No easy way to do it, but people who have a large volume of uploads always outpace gardeners, so there'll always be a lot results in that search for uploaders who are slacking. See the mintagger filter here: https://promotions.nonamethanks.xyz/
I think you might need to start dipping into the post versions JSON for that, combining the totals of each version's added_tags tables after filtering by their user id as the updater. But that's a more technical solution.
Initially, after uploading, I received a prompt stating that I needed at least 10 tags; consequently, I assumed that having ten would suffice. Later, however—after being informed that a minimum of 20 tags was actually required—I thought to myself, "Oh, so *that's* what the 'X/20 tags' counter is for." It is only now that I have realized the "20-tag" count specifically tallies *only* the General tags.
Now, I have none of active posts with less than 20 gentags
