The bulk update request #57543 (forum #432432) has been approved by @nonamethanks.
Due to this change, the wiki for syrup needed rewriting to be more general, as what it described before was definitely maple syrup or imitations thereof. I gave the rewrite a go; please look it over to see if it needs tweaking.
