Did you even look at the Wiktionary for drainpipe? I see three photos in the page that aren't about rain gutters, discounting the jeans example.

Yes, only the first photo is related to the sense of rain gutters (sense 1.1), the other photos are for other senses. The thing is, Danbooru uses drainpipe and downspout with this very sense, so I'm not sure I see the problem.
The bulk update request #56567 (forum #424693) has been rejected by @nonamethanks.
Then either drainpipe needs deprecation, if it's both for things like post #10895663 and post #10677637, or downspout needs an implication to it.

If drainpipe is meant to strictly reflect the other sense (ground pipe for waste fluid), then yes, it would be more useful to have both.
