Currently, the Boruto franchise is fragmented into three separate copyright tags without a central node. This makes it difficult for users to browse all "Boruto-era" content (movie, original manga, and the TBV sequel) without performing complex OR searches.
Creating boruto_(series) as a parent tag for all Boruto-related media follows the established precedent for other long-running franchises (like dragon_ball or fate_(series)), providing a cleaner hierarchy. It also ensures that all Boruto content correctly implies the parent naruto_(series) through a single, logical bridge, reducing redundancy in the tag implications for each sub-series.
