Building and Architecture Tagging issues

BUR #56934 has been rejected.

create implication dyson_sphere -> space_habitat
create implication ringworld -> space_habitat
create implication o'neill_cylinder -> space_habitat
create implication space_habitat -> megastructure

Maybe I don't understand how you do things here, but there seems to be a lot of tags related to buildings that don't get much use or don't seem to implicate other tags like I think they should. For example church and other christian building tags connecting to christian architecture or the various tags found on megastructure being implied to it. There are a lot of issues, but not sure what would be the best ones as it seems there are hundreds of tags related to these, so I feel safe starting with probably one of the safest cases. I noticed that megastructure wiki includes skyscrapers but i think tagging wise and colloquially the term refers to sci-fi or what not.

we only implicate tags when we are absolutely 100% sure that every post we tag with one tag is also going to be tagged with the other tag. like holding book implies book because you can't hold a book if there is no book in the post.

if it's like 99% and there is going to be 1% of edge cases with a space habitat that isn't a megastructure or a church that isn't christian, we don't do that

The wiki for church seems to indicate that it's not a church if it's not christian, and i can't really imagine a case where you would call a place of worship a church that isn't christian in architecture. synagogue are jewish, mosque are islamic, most asian religions are temples etc. as for space habitat, again the wiki seems to make a distinction between that and a space station.

If something isn't what danbooru has agreed that tag represents, but it ccould be consitently mistagged as such or clarification is needed, that should be reflected in counter example images and descriptions in the wiki. As I see it, that's not really done with any of the building adjecent tags because "I know it when i see it". thus this thread.

Dyson spheres aren't space habitats, they're just megastructures. You don't live in them, they're basically giant solar panels completely wrapping a star. It would be weird to find something like post #2488148 in space habitat, I think.

Also, dyson sphere at the moment has a bunch of posts that are around the concept of wrapping around a star and using its power, such as post #1965813. I don't think we'd tag that as megastructure.

Finally, space habitat also contains posts of space habitat interiors, where only the framework is visible (just look at the results under space habitat), which looks pretty different from what's commonly found under megastructure (which typically depicts them as a whole or from outer space).
