And I didn't say they were. In a way you might understand then: do we have utility aliases like group photography -> group picture? No? Why should we have your linguistically questionable utility alias then?
Instead of family photography shouldn't it be like family photograph or the more natural family photo?

I think family photo would be a useful alias. Kind of surprised we don't have it already!

i thought photography would be better as an alias because it's longer. if people disagree i guess either works
