Characters with extra eyes often have more than three eyes, so the "third" in the name causes some posts to not be tagged correctly
This post is the only one with the tag third_eye_on_arm, but this character has at least 8 eyes. This post also has the tag "third_eye_on_chest".

A few weeks ago, another thread about eyes was active. It said that "third_eye" couldn't imply "extra_eyes" because the third eye could be outside the body. Is this true?
Yes, third eye is so much bigger than extra eyes due to touhou characters and would only cause pollution.
We could deal with it by moving all those weird cases to disembodied third eye so that we could have third eye for actual on-body extra eyes, but nobody has bothered to propose that or make their case for it.

The post I linked has a Touhou character with an eye outside her body that wears glasses. Therefore, the proposal to change the tag name is also not adequate
