i googled it and it sounded like 座礼 was a type of お辞儀 so i was tagging it with ojigi (bowing) / seiza but i'm not sure so i'm making this BUR to create a separate tag for it and then we can figure out whether one implies the other or they are exclusive

could be. i'm not familiar with japanese terms so when i googled it google just say standing is ritsurei while sitting is zarei so i thought that's what it was called.
maybe there is some zarei that isn't mitsuyubi? if there isn't i guess we could also alias zarei to mitsubi?

It appears zarei is term for a seiza bow and mitsuyubi is the variant done with three fingers. There's also a number of examples under seiza bowing, and zarei is mentioned in ojigi_(bowing).
I doubt we want a tag specifically for the three-fingers pose, and at a glance most artists don't accurately draw this even when it's supposed to be the feminine variant.

And this, I guess, though I'd hazard most posts on this site are of ojigi.
I just casually browsed the ojiji tag and the results are flooded with zarei. It may not techically break the 90% rule when it comes to implications, but it might as well have.
I'm also against implicating ojiji to bowing as a result. It looks like tag cramming to fulfill some quota than to provide useful search results.

Here's a BUR to split them. I guess that would make ojigi (bowing) a standing-only tag. Though 辞儀 literally means "bowing", it doesn't make sense to not imply the standing ojigi to bowing.
I'd be perfectly fine with implying ojiji to bowing once the split goes through. As it is now, it's trying to staple too much shit onto a single tag.
