Mostly pointless tag. Demon wings are at least ambiguous between leathery bat wings and scaly pterosaur/dragon wings but the only difference between angel and feathered wings is the character having a halo. If one wants to see angels but no bird people there's already an angel tag.

Are there many posts with non-feathered angel wings? Maybe if they're drawn simply enough they wouldn't count as feathered?

Yes there are examples. post #9491397 post #9965992 post #10235522. I agree that the tag isn’t great, but I think the mass update is a bit hasty.

I would upvote this if it didn't have the mass update. Deprecations are all we can do for most canon tags; I've no doubt users have slapped this tag on many posts without feathered wings just because the character is canonically an angel.

If there's no alternative tags for these then the deprecation is not a valid option either. You can't just get rid of a tag without proposing an alternative.
