I've been trying to think about what to tag the blue head ornament on Cartethyia (Wuthering Waves) and Fleurdelys (Wuthering Waves). This ended up being crown of thorns. At one point I had tagger's remorse about this and tried changing to halo but this was reverted so it's been crown of thorns ever since. The tag came up in a stray discussion again today and yeah I think that it's still polluting the tag. Here's a BUR to depollute crown of thorns by removing it from posts of these two.
For alternatives, I've been thinking of if it could fit in some kind of halo tag instead without creating a 1-character tag. Spiked halo is close but that tag is also a mess. Another suggestion was that if it couldn't really fit into any tag, it shouldn't be tagged at all. Given that this character is almost always wearing it, there would be no loss to not tag it. My only concern is the aftermath where some builders might just end up mass tagging the character with something anyway.
