the wiki says you should use invisible for fully invisible characters, which is obviously not what happens... it also says you should use transparent for partially invisible characters, but transparent's wiki says it's for objects instead

we also have invisible man and invisible penis btw which are for sex (which again are mistagged sometimes)

imho it should be split into semi-invisible and completely invisible to avoid ambiguity. we also have partially invisible but that seems to be for parts of the body being invisible

There's also implied invisibility, which would work for posts like post #10382786 (E).

Not that I think we actually need to do this, but why not just alias invisible to completely_invisible?

The transparent wiki also says to use see-through_body for characters, which would make a semi-invisible tag redundant.

that's fine by me. i think there should be an alias from semi-invisible to see-through_body just in case
