Chousou follows wapuro style romanization, which as I understand is the booru's preference. It also matches other character tags from the source such as fushiguro_touji.

Our preference is actually Modified Hepburn with a little bit of wapuro in the case of long vowels, as detailed in howto:romanize. However, that only applies if there are no official romanizations, as stated in that same wiki.

I tried getting the ball rolling in topic #29430, but I think it went nowhere because a few controversial ones were in the mix of BURs.
