I feel like holding tennis ball shouldn't be separate from holding ball for the same reason I gave with holding bowling ball in forum #389412 but maybe it makes more sense here because it's more thematic. I don't know.

Yeah on second thought, I'm not sure about creating holding ball tags for every type of ball.
I guess the alternative would be going the holding cup route?
Related: we have holding beachball (over 2600 posts) which implies holding ball and beachball, and holding golf ball (15 posts) which only implies golf ball.

It's not too late to undo holding tennis ball since that tag was populated this month, and in that same vein we can take care of holding golf ball. They aren't even done properly either, missing an implication to holding.
Same reason as holding ball; we shouldn't have deep granularity for the holding tags. They're okay to become utility aliases at least, otherwise they won't get found or will get recreated eventually.

A lot of posts had the holding bucket tag until now, which implies bucket. However, the wiki of halloween bucket states:
This tag shouldn't be used with the bucket tag.

So I created holding halloween bucket to remove the normal bucket tag. The new tag implies a character holding a halloween bucket.

Yeah, holding energy gun would be used for energy gun and its implied tags so that we don't have a holding tag for every type of energy gun, the same way holding sword is for every type of sword like katana.
