create alias translucent_clothing -> see-through_clothes
Translucent as a tag is valid, but the clothes variant is not, which might be confusing.

idk about this... it's not a common word, very few people have used it as a tag and we already have transparent clothing aliased so even for autocomplete it's probably unnecessary
we have dozens of transparent_x -> see-through_x and if this made sense we would need to match all of them... it might be correct, but i think it would be weird to see "transparent_x -> see-through" next to "translucent_x -> see-through" for every single one of them.
i think we should deprecate the translucent tags instead and just alias transparent to see-through unless there is a good reason not to
i'm seeing translucent bunnysuit with 1.1k, translucent hair with 600 and translucent horns with 140... is there any reason why these aren't called see-through instead?

The bunnysuit one is because it refers to a specific meme outfit instead of the whole leotard being see-through, the other two is because see-through only apply to clothing, transparent is used for everything else.
Woops, I just saw this after making topic #34946.
"See-through only applies to clothing" isn't true at all, we have quite a few tags that aren't clothing that use see-through (in fact, it's more than transparent_*, I think), and several of those have translucent or transparent aliases.
I really think we should just use see-through for everything. I don't see a reason to distinguish between clothing and other objects naming-scheme wise for the same concept. It's counterintuitive to have an arbitrary distinction between how we refer to clothing that is see-through vs everything else that is see-through - taggers will naturally want to make new tags match the existing format, and they will naturally assume that it's see-through since most of our tags use that.
