Does Unwanted Breast Fondling Constitute Rape?

Posted under General

I know that it's a strange question, but since I've been seeing it quite a bit (and taking it off posts quite a bit, as well) I thought that I should ask before I do any huge potential damage.

Essentially my question boils down to what the community thinks of these images:

Now, all of these images were tagged with the rape tag until I removed them. And if this does constitute rape, then I'm happy enough to go through my tags and put them back.

However, while our own wiki says that "Forcing perverted or sexual acts on an unwilling participant." is rape, I can't help but think that labelling unwanted fondling as such is going a little too far. I'm not saying that it isn't molestation, but rape carries some heavier connotations than simply fondling someone against their wishes, at least I thought it did.

That's why I'm asking for community thoughts on this. Any advice and suggestions are appreciated.

I think you're right doing so.
We're not at feminist meeting, we only do some picture tagging here so we shouldn't go into absurdities of political correctness where even unwanted touch can be considered as rape.
While tagging picture we are sure, or strongly suspecting at least, that picture contains rape situation (and not some kind of sexual play instead) only when we can see someone is - pardon my language - forcibly and violently f*cked, period.

Ah.

Still, I see a lot of examples under that tag where it certainly doesn't look to be an unwilling case. Also, a lot of them clearly go much further than "unwanted groping or feeling up from a stranger."

Either there needs to be an alias, or a clear decision on what the tag represents, followed by cleanup.

Yeah, there was definitely some semantic shift involved with that tag as it was used. I'm not against leaving it as is, though, rather than coining another compensated_* tag to fix it.

Also it might just be that we see things differently, but as far as I can tell, in the majority of the cases here the participant is unwilling/unhappy with their situation.

If someone is clearly willing, perhaps they should be under a different tag. Although I'm not sure that I would consider groping for money "prostitution" in the traditional sense either.

I'd have retagged to groping rather than compromise with that segment of the user base inordinately interested in virtually raping girls in posts that depict any sexual content. Only post #356954 of the five examples above has a distinct visual element (an angry face) to suggest the groping is unwanted. Unless there is such an element, it's probably healthier to assume consent.
