What's the correct way to romanize this tag? Feixianji returns few Google results. Fei Tian Ji seems to be the most common spelling.
Also I don't know why it has a *_(hairstyle) qualifier, it doesn't appear to conflict with anything else.

The qualifier is definitely unnecessary. Feixianji is correct for 飛仙髻, which is stored as the other name in the wiki. Based on here, feixianji has sticks that props up the circle while feitianji doesn't.

Related hairstyle. From what I see, it includes 8-shaped hair rings.

Shuangyaji is a bit weird though. The danbooru wiki and wikipedia both call it hair bun and it's also tagged with hair bun a lot but the most "hair bun" in the posts would be those where the hollow centers of the rings are not very visible. If you can see it clearly then it's actually "rings" and not really "buns".
