BUR #52024 has been rejected.
create alias sakura_(naruto) -> haruno_sakura
do utility aliases like this make sense? i only know her as sakura from naruto. her full name doesn't have a qualifier so it doesn't show up in autocomplete when you type sakura_naruto

This makes no sense on making an alias, especially since you can find Haruno Sakura pretty easily by just searching naruto_(series) haruno_sakura, or just searching up "Haruno", which she is the 1st result of

Isn't the point of this helping people find her who don't know her name is Haruno?
Her full name's well-recognized not just by the fans of the series, but even non-fans (of both the series and anime in general). It really wouldn't make sense to have a utility alias just for findability when the series had been here for so long that it's essentially mainstream. On another note,

Maybe TheGamingRodent is unfamiliar with the series and assumed she's referred to by her surname more often than her given name.
If a user only knows the character is named Sakura, they can do a search for naruto_(series) *sakura*. If they know it's her given name, then naruto_(series) *sakura can be used instead.
