Should gendered animal terms (bull, rooster, cow,etc) imply an umbrella species tag?

create implication cow -> cattle
create implication bull -> cattle

Rooster currently implies chicken, seems to be the way to go. Alternatively bull should imply or be aliased to cow, but I think it's a bit dumb to search cow and get bulls with no cows. Unsure wether people want a hen tag.

BUR #46637 has been rejected.

create implication hen -> chicken
mass update favgroup:43766 -> hen

Keeping the "hen" tag seperate as I am not sure if people want it. There is also the issue of things that look like hens vs depictions of gender neutral things like cliche bloby cartoony chickens post #5735661 post #8974315 or the minecraft chicken. The favgroup only contains the former.

This alligns with what is currently tagged rooster (distinct, non blob) post #2596788 post #2586392

Seems like a logical BUR. There's a bunch of existing examples, like peacock/peahen, the aforementioned bull/cow. Plenty of missing examples too, like lion/lioness, buck/doe. This isn't animalbooru, so maybe there's no reason to go into "so much" detail, but at the same time a precedent for this kind of tagging exists, and the visual differences are very distinct.

Seems the culture has changed a little bit in allowing for more detailed tags but it might vary on a case by case basis. In my opinion IF a tag does exist, you should be able to search for that animal and it's gendered term. I'll add peafowl but I'm not sure if that will be too one sided.
