Alias metroid_prime -> metroid_prime_(series), Imply prime games -> (series)

BUR #33920 has been rejected.

create alias metroid_prime -> metroid_prime_(series)
create implication metroid_prime_3:_corruption -> metroid_prime_(series)
create implication metroid_prime_4:_beyond -> metroid_prime_(series)
create implication metroid_prime_hunters -> metroid_prime_(series)
create implication metroid_prime:_federation_force -> metroid_prime_(series)
create implication metroid_prime_remastered -> metroid_prime_(series)
create implication metroid_prime_(game) -> metroid_prime_(series)

At least eight games at present. 1, 2, Pinball, Hunters, 3, Federation Force, 1 Remastered, 4.

As we already have a tag for Metroid Prime (Creature), and I'll personally start populating Metroid Prime (Game)- This should make a good alias.

I figured the implication would carry over from metroid_prime, but yes it should.

As for Remastered, I'm unsure if there are new designs. There's a fair chance some things were changed, as the Log Book entries received updates visually and in text.

Remaster shouldn't be an independent copytag if you're unsure if there's substantial differences to the base game or if it would make sense to keep that content separately searchable. Rest looks good to me.

Why do the Prime games need a subseries tag when most of the mainline entries are already implicated under metroid?

This was never answered. I don't like making deeply nested copyright tag hierarchies unless there's a strong need for it.

BUR #41749 has been approved by @nonamethanks.

create implication metroid_prime:_federation_force -> metroid
remove implication metroid_prime -> metroid
deprecate metroid_prime
create implication metroid_prime_(game) -> metroid
create alias metroid_prime_remastered -> metroid_prime_(game)
rename metroid_prime_(game) -> metroid_prime_1

Because of the inaction here, @pc88 ended up turning what was obviously the Metroid Prime series tag (as it was used, since the wiki didn't reflect actual use) into a tag for the first game, nuking Metroid Prime (Game) in the process. I've reverted the nuke of the first game's tag, though now Metroid Prime is empty, so I want to propose this as a solution instead.

Aside from implying Federation Force, this BUR has two main purposes: a) deprecating Metroid Prime; b) following the same approach as per forum #329241 and topic #29664, the first game should explicitly be labeled as the first, therefore Metroid Prime 1; we also don't really need the remastered tag, so I'm aliasing that away.

So Metroid Prime was a series tag? If so then my mistake.

From the wiki I thought it was a game tag that people just started to erroneously use as a series tag over time (which confused me) and it became this almost meaningless dumping ground that I disagreed with, so I figured I'd clean it up to finally separate Metroid Prime 1/2/3 properly.

For the record, I don't think the Metroid series is big enough to warrant other subseries tags. I think it's fine for everything to fall under the Metroid tag and then people be more game specific for other tagging, since Metroid both 2D and Prime share so many similar elements despite having different narratives.

I agree with your proposal here. Changing Metroid Prime to "Metroid Prime 1" with alleviate a lot of issues.

If nothing less, you had the right idea, so you're good. evazion's rejection of the above BUR would've brought forth some sort of gardening of the Metroid Prime tags eventually, since it meant that inevitably we'd get rid of the tag that seemed out of place. At the very least, the fact that Metroid Prime was tagged on the various Metroid Prime tags, the fact that the wiki was only made in 2021, and the fact that Metroid Prime (Game) as a tag existed should've clued you in on how people actually used it.

Regardless, now we can finally settle things and ensure no more confusion.
