AI-generated art check thread

artist #274459 I posted one work from this artist and they have 50 works on the site now, but I have some concerns after looking at this piece. I don't like the way her right arm looks as it passes under where the shirt is hanging down; it looks like there's a chunk of her arm that should be missing. I'm not skilled enough to know if that's AI or an artist flub. https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/128029551

In my opinion, that's a false positive.
His art gets things right that AI gets wrong (or at least, renders in an identifiably AI way) like text, but gets things wrong in a way that AI doesn't (super long fingers in some of his X posted works). I think here he probably drew the boob and part of the arm, and then realised that the other part of the arm couldn't join it properly without redrawing the boob and just sent it. He has quite a few arm anatomy flubs from what I can see so my opinion on this one is that it's just a weak point of his.

Yeah, I took a closer look at his art after I posted my initial comment, and I agree with your stance. I'll just have to be careful about which of his works I post here.

they're posting works about every 3-5 days (sometimes even 2 a day) which makes me very suspicious; however looking at the art itself, I see none of the usual distinguishing AI features. Thoughts?

I suspect that this account is posting art that's already been posted elsewhere.

pixiv #126953288 has watermarks that might aid you in figuring out the first place the art was posted.

Forwarding from post #9522240 comment section: many of shexyo's art exhibits traces of AI usage.

post #9487990: non-symmetrical extra string left of Frieren's navel.
post #9481503: bike saddle seemingly attaches to nowhere, complete with nonsensical metal connection below the seat (it was supposed to be springs). The frame of the bike didn't even connect to the front wheel (lmao) or even make sensible shape.
post #9064147: the gold chain on Bambinetta's side connects to nowhere.
post #9041115: the gold chain on Unohana's stomach has asymmetrical branching. The nipple cups has size/perspective dissonance (the closer it is to the viewer, the object should look bigger) but in this case the side facing away from viewer was bigger in diameter.
post #8956488: the second row of gold necklace beads on Yoruichi's chest attaches to nothing and stops abruptly. The left side of ear chain doesn't have an earring loop. Different number of medals between left and right hip, different point of attachment of the skirt cloth.
post #9166675: anklet on Orihime's right leg merges with the shoe/slipper. The foot on the left side has nonsensical form. Color and pattern of gems on Rukia's collar is inconsistent. Shape/color of the beads are both asymmetrical and inconsistent, too.
post #9096961: nonsense amount of buttons on both shirt. Anomalous object on top left of the picture: if it's a chair, it's lacking the buttrest part.

It is safe to say that most of their recent art appears to be AI-assisted at the least unless there is any other evidence.

artist #546849
I've seen people keep flagging and appealing this artist so I'd like to mention, that the oldest picture on artist's pixiv was published June 16 and since then he posting almost every day, sometimes multiple pictures a day. The only other presence they have besides pixiv is on booth.pm where they sell their prints. No prior activity. No social media.
And also the way they draw character auricle differs from picture to picture significantly. And on this one it's plain ugly and artificial.
