Almost all posts tagged such depict the act of holding a map sheet. E.g. post #7672980
I don't think map (object) should automatically imply map because often the map is not clearly visible to the viewer, but a blank page from behind.

Having map be for actual maps and map (object) for the sheet is a terrible naming choice. map is already full of things like post #7893601, to the point where the BUR in the OP would make no difference.
