Would it be possible to automate the replacement of Instagram samples using the instantgram bookmarklet ? It seems like you have to be logged in to Instagram to get the fullres images using this bookmarklet, but hopefully that wouldn't preclude using it to automatically replace image samples.

@Talulah idk I guess I expected it to be able to resolve the original Tweet URL from the CDN image url oh well
I guess if that link expires later then we'll know it was from the deleted Tweet (assuming not instant)
but is it better to have the worse source without a bad link
I know a guy that might have the metadata and Tweet URL that will send it later
same md5 on both images though

Please do not @-mention people on the forums without good reasoning, it is extremely annoying. If we could find the original tweet ID from the direct link we'd already do that in Danbooru's code like we do for pixiv.

yeah I wasn't sure if it did but tried with a direct image link for a Tweet that was still active and it didn't work

third-party source -> first-party source (same image but more kbs)
It is not apparent to me that that link is a first party source, and an image like that isn't worth worrying about anyway.

I could see some changes in line thickness but I'd assumed this was a side effect of how images are downscaled
Okay.

Just upload the new one, set it as the parent, and tag it with revision .
