I've recently noticed that we have no way to search for a determinate type of beard if a man is bald. Should it count into the hair colour tags?

Would the tags go along the line of (color)_facial_hair to cover all types of facial hair? Or would they be split into (color)_beard, (color)_moustache, and other types of facial hair like goatees and sideburns?
EDIT: On a slightly related note, I’m rather confused as to whether or not sideburns are considered part of the hair or part of the face to warrant it being treated as facial hair.
I think it makes sense to have only one tag for the color and then have mismatched facial hair for the few cases where beard and mustache/etc have different colors. blue facial hair etc sounds good, since we already have things like blue pubic hair.
Seconded on color tags for facial hair.
Strongly disagree on having different tags for different kinds of facial hair. Just one general color_facial_hair is enough. Otherwise it just leads to tag bloat and makes people appehensive on using the color tags when they can't figure out what kind of facial hairstyle it is.
I would also suggest being 'conservative' with such tags. No need for a separate tag for every possible color (like how we don't have, say, beige_ or auburn_hair, which can be covered with just brown_hair or light_brown_hair or red_hair). Also if there's only one or two examples of an unusual facial hair color... might want to abstain from creating a color tag for those too.

Agreed. Though mismatched facial hair might potentially get 'mistagged' for when the hair and facial hair have different colors. Then again, folding this use of the tag inside may be appropriate too.
Though... maybe just have a two-tone_facial_hair tag (and multicolored_*) and fold "beard and mustache/etc" having different colors into that? Along with gradient mustaches/beards or multi-striped facial hair and such.
Spotted post #1579306 that could potentially fall under two-tone/multicolored facial hair. I won’t do anything with it for now as I got started with individual color tags and poking through my own posts. If I see more, I’ll let you guys know.

While it technically might count, I don't think most people would consider "salt and pepper" or "aging grey/white facial hairs" to be two-tone/multicolored. Same goes with the hair version. Main exception being, say , distinctive skunk stripes (like Polgara's), or any other odd patterns of color that isn't something one typical sees as the result of aging.
Another quick question just to be sure, but this will also count for fake facial hair, right?

I suppose yes, technically speaking, but do we really need to tag those? Don't think it's what people looking for facial hair want to find. Maybe if it's an unusual color or something.
Same goes for wigs really. A lot of the wig colors don't get consistently tagged. Clown wigs, especially. Wig colors anyhow usually only tagged if the actual hair is covered or only too little of the actual hair is visible (I presume because the tagger feels like they need to tag some hair color, and can't find any that isn't the wig's). No need to clog up the tags.
