Palamute/canyne

Just wanted to set this up since this was revealed today

What was revealed today? What is a palamute? What is a canyne? It really helps if you provide context so we don't have to Google to figure out what you're talking about.

In this case, I gather that:

• A Felyne is a species of furry cat-like creatures in the Monster Hunter series.
• A Palico is a Felyne companion creature for the player in Monster Hunter: World.
• A Canyne was a hypothetical dog-like equivalent of Felynes. This was a fan concept, Canynes weren't canon and didn't actually exist in the universe, until now.
• Monster Hunter Rise was announced a couple days ago, which made Canynes canon by introducing Palamutes, which are Canyne companion creatures similar to Palicos.
• We previously aliased Palico to Felyne in topic #16398, therefore we should alias Palamute to Canyne for the same reason.

I sure wish I didn't have to spend 20 minutes figuring this out for myself.
