Id like to know why this was deleted. The quality is just as good if not better than all of the other artwork the artist has uploaded here.

That is a horrifically out of proportion ribcage area, especially with how large those breasts are.

I uploaded this a few days ago, but apparently it's considered to have poor quality. I mean, I undestand it's not very detailed, but that's different than being 'poorly-drawn', at least to me. But I am new to this site, so if that image really wasn't good, I'll understand.

It's got a super flat-style of coloring that is in direct odds with the weird diamond texture filter that was slapped over the character layer. Breasts don't really work in the way they're depicted here and the legs on Asuka aren't in alignment with the rest of how her body is facing.
The tagging you did for the image was pretty good for a newcomer.

Alright, then. I'll keep that in mind in the future.

I wanted to ask for feedback on this post because I think its quite cute and matches the high quality of the artist's other posts on here, if not even better, and better than a lot of the art for the same series too. There is other furry content onsite, so I don't think that is it.

I'd like to know what's wrong so I can post in the future. Thank you!

i would assume paying for art carries with it some assumption that it's drawn well, but i guess that's not the case here?

Well, no. If someone pays me to make a shit drawing of a stick figure, it’s still a shit drawing of a stick figure. Paying for it doesn’t mean that the result will be good. Also, you could pay an artist to paint your portrait in oil: You might have paid for a great painting, but it would be off-topic for Danbooru.

Leaving that aside and looking at the image at hand, it’s not great but looks okay to me. Maybe it will catch an approver’s fancy after all.

I concur with 727272's statement, particularly on the vagueness of it. If the approvers had to explain their decisions, no matter how succintly, I wouldn't need to post here. 43 tags down the drain...
Oh, and someone really ought to answer Purrloin, VR-man, 727272 and Chimera99 already!

Anyone want to tell me why this was deleted?

Can someone tell me this one didn't get approved?

Because no approvers liked it enough or thought it was high enough quality to approve it.

and how harshly you're punished. This is part of a 3 image set, so I get -3 to my ratio for basically one upload.

If you're unsure of approval, upload only the main variation. If it's approved, upload the others.

We clicked the button showing we lack interest in the post, thought it was poor quality, or against the rules. Pretty succinct, but befitting your request.

Rule #1 for requesting feedback is outlined in the opening post of this thread.

All, consider this: as of this posting, we have 51 users with the ability to approve posts and it is their duty to do so based entirely on their personal perception of quality and interest. Would it be feasible to require even a majority of them to comment on why they didn't accept each of the 269+ posts deleted in the last 7 days? I don't mean to impress that the approval system is "fair" in any kind of way; it really isn't. But it is what it is, it's one of the core workings of the site, and demanding that you receive an answer to why your posts are deleted usually doesn't even earn as much as this reply.
