Nipple_licking gender identifying

So I read the wiki for nipple_licking as:

"The act of licking someone else's nipples. Usually female nipple licking is prevalent here, but there are examples of licking male nipples, so this tag isn't restricted by gender."

Yet I came across the sucking_male_nipple tag which contradicts the above tag by specifying the gender. Furthermore, I don't care for the wording of this tag since it's not consistent with nipple_licking. I prefer switching it over to male_nipple_licking, and then implicating it to nipple_licking.

Thoughts?

No discussion arose from this, so I created the BUR.

Was sucking_male_nipple intended to be a male counterpart to nipple_licking? I had assumed that it was equivalent to breast_sucking, which is obviously gender-specific.

I think the tags we have now are fine, this is how I see it:
Sucking and licking are two different things, and have different tags.

nipple suck does exist but it's aliased to breast sucking, which is specific for females.
sucking male nipple works as male counterpart to that, that goes for the sucking tags.

And then there's licking, for which we have nipple licking.

Okay, I rejected the BUR. I'll have to make a closer look at the posts and adjust them according to your suggestions. I wasn't aware of the sucking-related tags, so that might've caused the confusion for me.

I would suggest that sucking male nipple could be generalized to male nipple play or something. This way we could avoid having male-specific versions of all the different nipple_* tags (nipple licking, nipple tweak, nipple pull, so on).

Another option is removing the nipple sucking -> breast sucking alias and just use nipple sucking regardless of gender.

This. This is what I was thinking of. Since Danbooru is dominated by female nipple play, I was trying to see if there was a tag that could be created to isolate male nipple play the same way that we have male focus, male pubic hair, male swimwear, and so on.

I had updated the breast_sucking wiki earlier today to include sucking_male_nipple, if it would be better to remove it after creating this male_nipple_play tag or whatever.

Tackling the dealiases first so that nipple_suck can be aliased to nipple_sucking instead. I'm hoping this gets approved soon since I've noticed that a lot of requests have been lingering around for quite some time.
