キタキツネ would be Vulpes vulpes schrencki or Sakhalin_fox.
Ezo red fox is the official English translation. See #002 of the official character list.
It's an established synonym for V.v.schrencki (Wikipedia article (ja) ). Also, sakhalin fox is aka gitsune (アカギツネ) in Japanese, not kita kitsune (キタキツネ).

"V. v. schrencki" is the Sakhalin fox described by Leopold von Schrenck. "V. v. schrencki kishida" is a population of it described by Kyukichi Kishida in 1924 and named the Ezo red fox in English, but is not distinct enough to be considered a taxonomically separate subspecies.
アカギツネ refers to red foxes (Vulpes vulpes) in general. I don't think the Sakhalin fox has its own name in Japanese.
The tag alias kita_kitsune -> ezo_red_fox_(kemono_friends) (alias #14638) has been rejected.
Edit: Considering kita_kitsune covers the animal, an artist, and a character in the wiki, I'm leaving it as a disambiguation page instead of aliasing it.
