Hermaphrodite tag - what is it for?

I'm struggling to understand the function of hermaphrodite. Does it serve any purpose not already covered by androgynous or futanari? Is there a compelling reason for maintaining yet another tag for characters that blur gender boundaries? I think it's important to discuss this here so we can collectively decide upon the value of a very small tag that, to me, seems to have considerable overlap with other tags.

It looks like the tag is referring to more general/classical depictions of hermaphrodites, which futanari is a specific subset of. I think it could be useful, particularly in cases like post #2531250, where neither the androgynous or futanari tags are quite appropriate for explaining why a male-tagged character has breasts.

Doesn't newhalf already cover this? If not, the distinction needs to be explained in the wiki entries.
