True, but there's 5788 posts tagged plate, with many of them being tagged with food as well, as opposed to only 415 being tagged with dish.

Well, if something is so ambiguous in normal usage, then we have to define these tags definitely.
So plate should only be used for, well, plates and dish is only to be used for food/meal.
Or we switch that out completely and populize the meal tag and reduce the dish tag.

Because bowls and cups also count as dishes, some of the posts currently tagged dish might not have plates in them. If we're getting rid of the tag, we should probably do it by hand

Well, either way I think it should be cleared up/streamlined.
