Found out that her name is in Katakana (バルサ), which implies that it's made up. Shouldn't we go with the official romanization of the name?

I have no particular opinion on whether "Balsa" or "Barusa" is preferable, but it's completely meaningless that it's in katakana, because as far as I can tell every single character name associated with that copyright is in katakana.

I'd go with the the most common or official romanization of the name, which is Balsa.
