Since the witches were once magical girls, so should their presence warant an 1girl tag or is there something like an ex-human tag? To elaborate it further, should any romantic or sexual interaction between a witch and a magical girl count as yuri, since both are or were female (it's not as if it was confirmed, that becoming a witch changes or abolished the gender, right)?

Well, the spoiler wouldn't be only recognizable as such, if you know enough about the series (someone, who just started watching the series, would be aware of the connection and thus his/her fun wouldn't be spoiled... A spoiler only in the retrospetive, if you only look at the tags) and there DO exist spoilerific tags ({mami_mogu_mogu }}).
You should put the name of whatever series you're talking about in the title so people who don't want to see spoilers for that series can avoid this topic. Just spoiler-tagging a bunch of stuff without mentioning what it's a spoiler for doesn't help because it could be any series.
The xboys/xgirls tags are for humanoids. Some of the witches don't have anything close to a humanoid appearance, and others aren't really enough to count for the tag IMO. It would have to be something like Elly in post #984809 to be included in the count.

I'd say yes on the former (I've considered characters like roboko_(sekai_seifuku) and melan_blue included in counts). I'm not entirely sure on Sonic (maybe). Many furry characters are humanoid-looking enough to where I'd consider them in counts (shizue_(doubutsu_no_mori) and wolfrun are commonly tagged, for instance, and that seems fine to me)
