I could never tell whether AT fields were supposed to be hexagonal or octagonal. They seem to keep changing between those two shapes depending on the episode. Sadamoto himself can't seem to make up his mind between the two in his own manga adaptation (of which I am eagerly awaiting the completion of).

Maybe Unit-01 being a racequeen could be a spoiler, though? It's a small clue as to the Eva's true identity.

What the hell is wrong with Asuka foot? Rei's looks fine because she's sitting down.
