There are either scaling problems here, or the background girls' lower bodies are mysteriously missing. Actually I'm not sure what's going on between the wings, foreground and background, but something seems off somewhere.

I think the wings is acting as a panel border of sort,showing the wing-girl old classroom and her friends and the now apparently long abandon classroom or something.

I think they are eyelashes.
The lower part is the reality, and the upper part is what she sees with the eyes closed: her memories.
