actually "pika" is the/one of Japanese onomotpiea for shiny or sparkling or somthing similar, or atleast thats one of the things I learned in Japanese

So the whole manga is filled with "lol u so foreign" jokes, and then they settle their differences by... playing mahjong. Awesome.
