A closer equivalent would be "Ba-blah!"; the sound you make when sticking your tongue out. Yukari picking it up as baba/old hag instead would indeed seem intentional.

Actually, while all youkai can eventually regenerate after injuries like these, it can take several years for the weaker ones to heal from severe wounds.
