Well, when your just a member level, you have to 1.)post the most recent (good) images before another does or 2.)run across an image which has not been uploaded yet, which is rare.
Hmmmm, you got a point. I always thought contributors knew a lot of good sources for images and really don't have trouble finding them. I guess you guys have it rough to then. "^^
Teclo said: Also, on a different note, how come I can approve some posts but not this one?
Contributors can't approve posts anymore. It was an experiment albert wanted to try. If you want to approve post you will have to become a janitor. Check out forum #31590
But seriously, it's a massive Oda reference; he gets interviewed about how much he uses the DON sound effect, he makes his characters actually say DON, there's a game called DON... I understand that "Bam" is what the sound would really be, but the artist wrote DON for a reason.
My take on the notes is that no matter how large or small they are, they still obscure the image. Even when they're not showing, the transparent boxes obscure the image. It's best to just read through the various notes, then get rid of them by clicking on the image outside of the transparent boxes. When you look at it like that, it doesn't really matter how much text is in them.
Nami-!
I need a towel~!DON!
This sound effect, used when someone dramatic happens in manga, is used by Oda frequently, to the point that he even has characters saying that "Real men do things with a DON!" and similar. There was also a fighting game featuring characters from DBZ, One Piece and Naruto, called DON. Here's it's obviously used as a humorous reference. Get out!!
