I love this anime now. =D Creepy but it has an amazing plot

Eh the anime is alright, but I still prefer the Visual Novel it's based off. Much better music selection and emotion

It's not being elitist, it's just that the anime is actually pretty bad, especially in comparison. People who are turned off or don't like umineko because of the anime would probably never dream of doing so if they read the VN and new how much was missing.

Interesting. I find that I've enjoyed Umineko quite a bit, but I was expecting a simple rehash of Higurasi, which I didn't particularly end up caring about too much. I'll have to look into that.
