Also, Kawakatsu was considered an incarnation of Matara-jin, AKA Matara Okina.

Hata no Kawakatsu is not a Touhou character. Miko was referring to the real life historical figure named Hata no Kawakatsu. I don’t know how useful a character tag is for him, but I'm not sure it makes sense for it to have a (touhou) qualifier when his only canon presence is a passing reference.
