What I wanna know is why someone brought Yelan/Furina into a fight with so many Hydro Slimes, or why they paired Yoimiya with Baizhu. Sure, she works with Yelan, but she's not great for Burgeon.

Well, since you asked:
Yoimiya benefits a lot from the two stacking damage buffs from Yelan and Furinas burst. Since both of those have a lot of hydro application on top of that, Dr. Baizhu doesn't really interfere with Yoimiyas Vaporize triggers. The occasional burgeon that results really just ends up being a bit of extra damage, even if it isn't the sole focus of the team (in the way that many burgeon/hyperbloom teams frequently have it as their main damage source). I tend to run Noelle + Burgeon/Hyperbloom sometimes and it's perfectly fine if you're only dealing a couple thousand damage with it.
If Dr. Baizhu has the new healing set (Song of Days Past), Yoimiya actually benefits quite massively from it. With the way her infusions damage scaling works, static damage addition effects (like for example Yun Jins burst or the Echoes artifact set) actually work really well with her. Her infusion damage multiplier in addition to the damage multipliers of her gear in addition to her crit damage multiplier just pays dividends for the added damage, since it's added before all multipliers. Dr. Baizhu also has an easy time keeping the team topped up for Furinas sake. A single skill use can easily heal 6000-10000 health for the entire team. Depending on how well he's built he might even just do additional triggers of Song of Days Past over the duration of his ultimate.
And each abyss has three stages, so sometimes you just gotta get past a bunch of trivial enemies that are immune to some of your team members elements.
Seems like an okay team to me. A bit more convenient than trying to run VV for resistance reduction, but despite lacking VV, it's focused and has good off-field damage in addition to a main damage dealer getting pushed quite well.
To be honest, I never thought of pairing Yelan and Furina for the burst stack. That's quite an idea and that alone seems like a great combination already.
