sometimes i wonder if some artists just preemptively open their drawing program then refresh their brower page until the episode appears, only to pause the episode to start drawing when they get to what they feel like drawing

Given how fast some artists work, some of which I personally know and make great detailed pieces in mere minutes, I wouldn't doubt this at all.
