Additionally, as I understand it, those on the Scandinavian peninsula and Iceland take ice baths as well. I've also heard that in Norway, they take a hot sauna/shower/bath and then go jump in the frigid Atlantic ocean.

I believe that it's done through out all of Scandinavia as well, and not just Norway.
