Explanation for the "leaf_(pokemon)_(classic)" tag: She is the prototype of the female player character that didn't appear in the final games. I called her "Leaf" because of her Generation III counterpart.

If you don't like the tag, feel free to remove/change it.

Remember to use "character:" immediately preceding the name of the name of a character in tags when making a new one.

    But, I'm a little confused. Isn't this essentially blue_(pokemon)?

Blue's early appearance in the Adventures manga was heavily inspired by the unused female R/B/G character.
Try not to get mixed up, or we'll have a similar 'Red is/isn't Ash' dilemma again. Ugh...

Ken Sugimori style looked kinda Dragon Ball-ish back in the day.

Is also nice to see more of the FemaleMC of Generation I

Thanks! I'll keep that in mind for the next time.

And...Well, Blue is the girl from the manga, but this girl is the one who was going to be in the first games, but she was left off the final cut.

Ditto. The old Art had some charm. The new art has annoying looking pupils.
