The SaGa series are always a bit too complicated for my taste. And I'm someone who plays Nethack and Dwarf Fort.
(I think it's because Nethack and DF's idiosyncrasies are better documented, and there's a greater degree of player control, not to mention cause-and-effect is more apparent. So, if you mess up, it's easy to see how you messed up.)
This is the Imperial Cross.It's a formation with a tank character sitting in front soaking up hits all by himself in order to protect the other people in the rear.Akatsuki's position behind me is the safest here, with high armor Kuma-san taking point, plus Ikazuchi and Inazuma securing our flanks. This allows us to fight without worry.Wait, paws, isn't this just the regular circular formation?Besides, it's not like I have a beary high armor stat anyway.

Well, to be fair, I do at least have some armor, combeared to you destroyers, but even so I hardly koalafy as an impregnable wall.
