My prayer is that it is the Fletcher that was hinted months ago twice for this year's release.

Well, the new one Yuugumo is most certainly Kishinami, as she with Okinami and Asashimo replaced the numbers of the sunken ships of DD31, and Naganami was the flagship of it.

I really hope not, we already have more than enough kaiboukan and they have even more limited function than subs.

I have very low expectations at the point. Weeks ago, I may have said I'd prefer a new submarine, but phase 2 killed Orel.

Honestly, they need to go outside the IJN at this point. They're really scraping the bottom of the barrel- both in terms of characters and ships- at this point. From the last few events at least, I think that the non-IJN ships have all out-competed their event-sister ships in popularity or at least fanart.

Well, it's not like they haven't been going outside the IJN at all. Besides, there are only two IJN capital ships left at this point: Shinano and Ibuki, maybe one or two of the Unryuu sisters that had completed hulls but were never fully finished
