I think its more along the lines of Kanmusu only trust other Kanmusu. I mean, if a human woman were to be brought into the mix, how do you know you can trust her?

Seven, I believe - All of DesDiv6, two of the Kongou sisters (Kongou and Hiei) and I think it was hinted at in the Tokonatsu story that he also ringed Murakumo.

Police can outgun criminals, but that doesn't stop criminals from trying to commit crimes without the police finding out they were the ones that pulled it off.

As far as I can tell, either the shipgirls are only fine with sharing with someone they actually know, only with other shipgirls in general, or only whenever it achieves the comedic effect Kouji/Yuuji want at the moment.

Stuff like this is why I've lost count. There are some girls who were clearly up for the ring who have dropped out of sight recently.

It's more likely that he dealt with that plotline in a book, which raises problems. If they draw a doujin where looking at the free pages, you can tell what happened in the book, then it lowers the incentive to buy and read the book. For example, Hisahiko's book where Hiei and Jun'you were (temporarily) killed off, but since the parts after the book obviously had characters referencing that happening, you knew what had happened. Another option is to make stuff happen that doesn't affect the overall plot, but then, why would you bother shelling out for that story when it doesn't matter?

If you do something like this, and have the plot spiral off in the book, then don't deal with the aftermath for a year or so, then people still have to read the book to find out what happened.

With Campus Life's doujins at least, there's not really a lot of extra actual new story in the printed volumes, just a few additional pages continuing on from what you already got online. (Other circles put much more new material in, such as Ido.)
