Yup.

Wouldn't this better fit in the Heartwarming instead? While Doremy's getting the pillow for Sagume is sweet, Sagume falling asleep on her lap is just as sweet, if not more so.

I'm in agreement with this. It doesn't happen as Doremy intends it to, but it's not exactly ruined either.

I think Sagume sucking her thumb while sleeping might be the cutest thing I have ever seen in my life.

I also think it fits her character super well.
