I kind of hope, that Cinder was also hit by Ruby's attack and also is permanently frozen in the same, scared pose, we saw her last in.

I suppose the hate could in turn create DISLIKE (a rather different beast) or even CRITICISM (Tv Tropes' YMMV page for RWBY (google it if you can) mentions that some people are criticising Cinder's efficiency as a villain from a writing standpoint, but it's likely that the criticism is questionably (spoilers) motivated).

By that token, I wonder if one could muster so much raw hatred that they not only draw grimm, but CONTROL them too (I suppose by then the person would have become a threat in their own right anyway).
