Well if she's like a mouse, then as long as she could find a gap about 1/4" wide (width of a pencil) between the walls of the lid and base, that'd be enough for her to squeeze and crawl her way up into the box with the lid still on. Crawling through the cloth around the box would be the easy part.

The cloth wraps are traditionally not even really that tight, there'd be plenty of wiggle room for her to worm her way inside.

To eat so fast she has to be capable of even faster movement. More than Zekamashi fast.

Shouldn't this qualify for the "How Is This Even Possible?!" pool? I mean, Akagi somehow cleaned out the entire contents of the box -- which is over a dozen times her size -- within a mere 2-3 seconds, even though she seemed to be taking her sweet time before the box was opened.

Exactly what I want to know. I mean, those Fleet Girl Fairies seem to have a remarkable bio-structure that allows them to eat more than their physical stature can hold. But aside from that...

...where did the tea cup come from? This is a new mystery that's worth solving.

That would mean she entered right when the box was opened, she was not there while prepared and closed. Of course, Tom & Jerry distort rules like that a lot for the sake of comedy.
